The Wine

Let us continue, (Rev 17:2) "and the people of the earth have been made drunk by the wine of her immorality."

First of all, the people of the earth means all the people in all the countries know her, she has religious, political, business and /or recreational dealings with virtually every nation on Earth!

Second, "have been made drunk" - What is being made drunk mean? Intoxicated, to be under the influence of a substance.

Third, "by the wine of her immorality", So, what is the substance the people of the earth are being made drunk by? BY HER WINE! Which according to the Lord, is immoral. Question? If we are discussing a city/country and/or a doctrine, then what is her wine? It must be a way of life, a form of government, a way of doing business, or a religious way of life or maybe it could be all of these combined into one entity, which all comes under the heading of HER DOCTRINE!

It is her doctrine that is her wine! It is her Doctrine, her way of life, that makes them drunk and they do not see that it makes them immoral, or if they do, they are so into the world/doctrine that they don't care.

Let's Review Rev 17:1-2

(conjections/assumptions)

1. We have identified our subject as The Notorious Prostitute/The Great Whore.(Rev17:1)

2. Who is also a city(Rev16:9)/country and/or a Doctrine.

3. She has influence throughout the world.

4. Her way of living, her way of doing business, her way of recreation, her way of religion is wanted by all who see what she has and they want it too!

5. She must be a very rich and powerful city/nation with a doctrine (Her Wine) that every nation on earth wants to be a part of. "Her way must be right, for look at her! She is respected beyond reproach, she is looked upto and many nations are changing their way of doing things just to be like her." Then they can be successful like her also!(Dan 7:25)

Now, we have a basic track to run on, but we still need more documentation that will lead us to our own conclusions and answers. Let us take a look at the woman and see how she dresses. her part in the picture, the overall scheme of things.
